Planning & Optimization
Our guiding objectives
State of the art technical design for maximizing performance of the PV plant.
What we do and how we ensure achievement of the objectives
Every PV plant needs to be aligned with the local specifications of the land to be built on such as topographic and geological situation, sun irradiation and angle, wind and snow load, general electrical requirements of the grid and so on.
Following our general approach we split the planning into 2 focus areas which need to be linked together in the most suitable way:
-
1. PV plant incl. substation
The planning & optimization of racks, modules, inverters, cable lines and the plant substation
-
2. Grid connection
The planning & optimization of evacuation/cable lines from the PV plant substation to the grid connection point and refurbishment needs at the grid connection point in case necessary
Only if both focus areas are fully linked together in an optimal way the PV plant will deliver the financial results as expected.
Towards the client ILB Helios AG delivers a 100% turnkey solution where all components fit together, all processes are harmonize and our continuous quality management system assures highest performance and quality of the PV plant.
Our practical experience suggests that many issues emerging during the O&M phase are strongly related to the upstream phases of the project lifecycle (siting, development, design, etc.) and may have very significant effects on the downstream phase (performance, production). In particular, suitable planning, supervision and quality assurance activities are critical at all stages of the PV plant in order to minimize the risk of damages and outages, optimize the use of warranties, avoid dilution of resources and ultimately improve the overall performance of the PV plant.
